It has been my fortune to have visited New York City with respect to my being a member of Raabitah Al-Aalam Al-Islaami. While I was there from June 26th to 15 July, I also happened to visit Darul Uloom New York, which was founded in 1997 by Shaikh Shahidul-Islam of Bangladesh.
Darul Uloom is an initial and beginning instituation, comparable to new sprouting seed for the future of such Islamic educational instituations especially for the Muslims from the Indian sub-continent. Darul Uloom is an active instituation which is going forth in the propagation and education of Islamic teachings at the basic and intermediate levels.
